Aotearoa Christians for Peace in Palestine

Ko wai mātou?

We are Christians located in Aotearoa standing for justice and peace in Palestine.

We work together toward two purposes: to be a public witness for the Gospel of Christ; countering the warped theology of Christian Zionism that is growing in the church today, and to non-violently co-resist against inequalities in the authentic pursuit of justice and peace in Palestine.

Together we have

Walked the length of Gaza in Auckland, Wellington, Whanganui and Christchurch as part of the global Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimages movement.

Raised thousands of dollars for Musalaha and Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees Gaza via Christian World Service.

Unveiled a plaque remembering the lives lost in the Israeli airstrike on the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza City.

Coordinated an open letter signed by 100 church leaders and leaders of Christian organisations, as part of the “Christians United for Refuge” campaign.
